SUSPENSION OF THE CERTIFICATE

• Finding out the nonconformities that have been determined during the controls and have not eliminated on due time, 
• Determining that requirement or legal sanctions (such as; worker health and work safety legislation or special requests towards relevant product or service) have not been fulfilled within the scope of auditing, 
• Put demands in writing about the suspension of the certificate by the client voluntarily, 
• Misuse of the certificate and halal mark of the EATSAFE certification,
• Disagree with the certification rules, 
• Neglect the financial obligations, 
• Not to inform EATSAFE certification about the important changes that have been performed in the organization of the client, 
• Non execution of the management system where it is documented and audited, 
• Determined negative circumstances by the EATSAFE CERTIFICATION in the management system/ product/process/services
• Not to allow the surveillance and recertification controls by the client
• Fail to inform EATSAFE CERTIFICATION about important changes
• In case the document is misused,
• Not to take required corrective actions related to  complaints about operations or products certified by EATSAFE certification.
• Not to submit information to EATSAFE certification covered by EATSAFE certification’s certification scope.

WITHDRAWAL OF THE CERTIFICATE

Withdrawal of the certificate will be applied due to the below listed cases

• If the audit process shows that the non-conformities are in a serious risk category which is mentioned on the audit preparation guideline document
• If the surveillance or re-audit are delayed by more than three months beyond the scheduled date
• If the client fails to settle the payments since it’s the clients’ financial obligation
• If the client fails to respond for the request adequately due to suspension
• If the any actions are taken by the client which lead the halal certification system of Eatsafe certification in to discredit
•  The decision to withdraw the certificate will also be officially communicated to the customer including the decision to terminate the use of the halal mark and the decision to return all copies of the certificate.
• The customer has a right to appeal for the withdrawal of the certificate by the Eatsafe certification client. But Eatsafe certification appeals and complaint procedure should be respected

CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE

Certificate will be cancelled if

• Client does not wish to continue the certification with the specific scheme
• Products, processes or services are no longer offered
• Client ceases trading for any other reason

When certificate is cancelled it will be published on Eatsafe certification website. All costs incurred for the investigation of the misuse of certificates or halal mark, costs for suspension and reinstating will be charged to the client
