Application for certification
All information deemed necessary by EATSAFE certification in order to complete the assessment should be made available by the applicant through the completion of their application form and that all Annexures shall be duly completed.
By using the application review format, the application will be reviewed for adequacy.
EATSAFE certification contacts the facility to schedule a mutually acceptable date for the certification audit. EATSAFE certification specifies time limits within which audits must occur.
Preparation for audit
The audit team should have competencies in the specific sector related with the planned audit task.
First stage audit
First one is stage-one audit which is done for document review and other management system assessment. Stage-one audit check the overall preparedness of client for stage-two audit
Second stage audit
Stage two auditing is done onsite in order to confirm the reality on the ground with reference to the relevant GSO standards.
Certification
EATSAFE certification decision Committee is responsible for all decisions on granting and refusing.
Surveillance
In order to verify the conformity of the client to the certification conditions, it is the periodic surveillance performed to check the compliance to the requirements by the client at market place.
